Ton Muntané, an actor formed in the Institut del Teatre in the specialty of physical theatre. He has completed his formation with Clown's studies and Miming, and later with Contemporary Dance. All that has given him a solid base for the creation and the movement.
He has worked with other cies as diverse as the Tricicle, Iliacan dance, and sporadically with cies as Comediants or Cia Gelabert-Azzopardi.
With his last creation “to hawaii” he continues working with the genre of the AcidClown. A type of clown very energetic, which tells crazy stories, using sounds and physical language.
The first show using this genre was “katraska”, that later gave name to the company. With this production they have gained several prizes in Contests of Theatre, besides presenting it in festivals, and performed all over the world.
“e-gobio” is his second production. Where he continues investigating with the language of the Clown and the Physical Theatre. But in this case in a more intimate and subtle line. Inspired by "The Krapp's last tape" of Samuel Beckett, he treats the topic of the indecision and the doubt.
His beginnings in the world of the theatre go back to the street shows around festivals in the whole Europe. The passion for this world made him begin study in the Institute of the Theatre and realize his own productions of clown, establishing professionally.
He continued his formation with clown's classes (Eric de Bont, Berty Tobias, etc...), physical theatre (Joseph Nadj, Andrej Leparski, Jordi Cortés), acrobatics (Rogelio Rivel) and contemporary dance (Bo Didley, Andrés Corchero, Carmelo, Toni Mira, Alexis Eupierre, etc...)
Later he created, with other companies, the Acadèmia de Patafísica.
Now he devotes himself to the creation, and representation of “katraska”, “e-gobio”,“to hawaii” and “MicroGloPhonE”. |
